Being Happy, Staying Positive Part 1: Do You Want To Be Happy and Positive?

Categories: Creative Happy Life

Did you know that I’ve started something new? I’ve started writing a monthly column called “Being Happy, Staying Positive” for an online subscription newspaper, Downs Champion.

I’ve never written a column before and I’ve discovered that I love it. I love being able to share my wisdom to help my readers. Each column will have some helpful information on how to be happy and positive, as well as something for you to do.

The first column is an introduction to the column and a bit about my happiness journey. You can find it here.

I’ve got a question for you – why do you want to be happy? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

With love and creative happiness,

Lynda

  1. Id have to say I am happy not why do I want to be happy, like all things in life we have choices, guess its how we choose to enjoy our days either miserable or grumpy which doesnt help anyone or bright and bubbly, at the end of the day its for me a simple choice 🙂

    Hello!
(I can’t read the column you wrote, since I am not a subscriber the the magazine).
I found this post, scrolling through “writing” tags on WordPress –
It’s so much easier to be inspired and energetic when I am happy! Besides, I like “me” more when I am happy and that makes it easier to tolerate (and therefore like and love) the people around me.
Thanks for the little reminder that the sunshine is worth working for! 🙂

I read as much as i could before the site insisted i sign in…..i can totally relate to chronic illness and a major life drama being a game changer. Me too. Happiness is so much better than feeling crumpy all the time….

It is and it only takes the want to be happy for it to happen.
