Introducing Create:Love:Give

Categories: create:love:give, Popular

I’ve discovered something powerful. Something that puts a huge smile on my face and fills my heart with love.

Do you want to know what my “make me feel good” thing is?

It’s creating and giving with love. Especially when I get nothing in return.

I want you to be able to experience this feeling too.

Introducing Create:Love:Give.

Create:Love:Give is about lovingly making scarfs and baby blankets for someone that is genuinely struggling. It’s a way for us to create and give with love together.

I run Create:Love:Give in conjunction with Helping Hands Dalby – a local charity which is making a real difference by helping people that are going through a tough patch.

The scarfs that are made will go into the emergency food boxes that are handed out this winter and the baby blankets will be given to mums with little bubs.

For the last couple of years I’ve been running Scarf It Forward and Mum & Bub Love Project in conjunction with Helping Hands Dalby. These projects have been a success and I want to continue them and see them grow. Create:Love:Give combines these two projects together and makes it easier for you to get involved.

Creating and giving with love

Some of the items that have been created and given with love for Scarf It Forward and Mum & Bub Love Project.

How does Create:Love:Give work?

It’s simple – you make a scarf or baby blanket and pop it in the post to me. I’ll then photograph it and pass on all the creations to Helping Hands who distribute them to people in need.

It doesn’t matter how many things you make. You can make 1 or 10. Or why not get together with a friend and send in your creations together?

And you don’t have to just make scarfs and baby blankets. You can make whatever you feel called to give.
