My Favourite Aussie Creatives

Categories: Creative Happy Life

Do you know that feeling when you discover a new creative person – so many gorgeous colours, textures and loveliness! This always makes me feel happy and warm on the inside, and I love that they’re a real person just like me.

To celebrate Australia Day I’ve put together some of my favourite Aussie Creatives in one place – they’re designers, makers and curators and their products are 100% Australian made. Each one is different and unique and you really most explore them all.

I’ve also got an Aussie Day giveaway happening on Instagram here, and a fabulous Chunky Creative Kit that’s only available this weekend!

I hope you find a couple of new favourite Aussie Creatives!

Soona – fashion accessories

You know when you first discover an Instagram account and you immediately fall in love with everything you see? This is what happened when came across @soona.store – instant love! Betsy is a Mexican girl living in Sydney and she creates super stylish bags, necklaces, keychains and other goodies – this is one brand to watch!

Happy Monday! ? Has anyone spotted my favourite purse? ?

Nunnaba – yarn

I’ve got a confession of make – I’ve got lots of gorgeous Nunnaba yarn in my stash! It’s just waiting for the perfect project of course! Jenna lives in Glen Innes, NSW and hand dyes the most beautiful yarns, all on a base of White Gum Wool (it’s beautifully soft Aussie merino wool).

Mocha Brown Design  – homewares and gifts

The people that support Aussie Creatives are important too, especially when they have curated a lovely range like Anita from Mocha Brown Design. Based in Sydney, Anita has amazing taste and her range of locally designed and made products make the perfect gift – for you or someone else.

Blooms and Butterflies Doll Studio – dolls

Do you know how lovely people seem to come into your life by chance? I had the pleasure of meeting Kira from Blooms and Butterflies while I was living in Glen Innes. I instantly fell in love with her beautiful, handmade dolls, and Kira herself is just as lovely as her creations. Make sure you follow her Instagram account!

~ goodbye 2017 ~ And so another year begins. I have so many goals this year, all of which I hope will mean for a happier and healthier life for my little fam bam all round. Bring on the adventures. ✌?For now, I won't be taking on any new bespoke orders. I need to take a little break from Blooms to refresh and come back better than ever. Also I think a little digital detox is in order, so you may not hear a lot from me for a little while. Before I pop off, I just want to say a massive, massive THANK YOU to you all for your continued support. To everyone that has commented, liked, interacted, reached out to me and purchased my dolls and creations this year – you are all amazing and I am ever so grateful ? Kira
