Chunky Crochet Classes at the Melbourne Craft and Quilt Fair

Categories: Homelea Lass Happenings

Hello lovely, how are you going today?

I’m having a fun filled week getting ready for the Melbourne Craft and Quilt Fair – it opens on Thursday!

My favourite part of preparing for a market or fair is making my stall look fantastic – I love styling and rearranging until it feels just right. During the event, I love talking all things chunky crochet and knitting and hearing what you’d love to make.

Have you heard that I’ll be teaching a Make and Take Class?

Each day at 2pm I’ll be sharing my chunky crochet tips and tricks as we make the Warm Heart Scarf or Cowl.

This is a great way to learn, or perfect, the basics of chunky crochet.

Class tickets cost $75 and you will receive expert tuition, a 300g skein of Homelea Bliss (soft Australian grown merino wool yarn), a 25mm bamboo crochet hook plus access to online crochet patterns, videos and helpful information.

There are only limited tickets available and you can book online here or at my stand on the day.

All about the Melbourne Craft and Quilt Fair

Running from Thursday 26th July to Sunday 29th July at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, the Melbourne Craft and Quilt Fair is a creative heaven! You’ll discover lots of lovely crafty things and expand your creative horizons.

The doors are open each day from 9am to 4:30pm and you’ll find me at stall G28.

I’ve got all my new designs and kits for you to look at, plus my chunky crochet hooks, giant knitting needles and other tools and accessories.
