Hello lovely, how are you going today? I just wanted to chat about shipping for a moment.
COVID-19 has changed our lives and we’re shopping online more than ever. This, combined with social distancing measures and fewer flights, is putting a huge demand on Australia Post and our Couriers which is resulting in delivery delays.
Here at Homelea Lass, we’re shipping orders as quickly as we can (generally packed the same day and picked up the next day) and we’re using contactless methods of parcel collection and drop off.
We’re noticing that generally, Sendle deliveries are quicker than Australia Post at present (unfortunately they don’t work for PO Boxes). Express Shipping is still the quickest way to get your parcel, but it is not guaranteed to be delivered the next day.
To provide greater transparency around shipping, we’ve changed our checkout for Australian orders so now you have the option to specify if you’d like your order sent via Courier (Sendle or DHL Express) or Australia Post (standard or express).
With our international shipments at present, we’ve noticed the DHL Express deliveries are quicker than Australia Post, and Australia Post express is getting priority over standard.
To provide greater transparency around shipping, we’ve changed our checkout for International orders so you now have the option to specify if you’d like your order sent via Courier (DHL Express) or Australia Post (standard or express).
