Don’t miss out on making the Yarn Advent-ure Blanket Kit! | FREE SHIPPING OVER $100: order before 2pm (Brisbane time) on Sunday 27th July and it will be sent on Monday
The easiest way to crochet is with big yarn and a big hook. This combo is so much easier to see and manoeuvre – little hooks and yarns are so fiddly!
We’re committed to removing the frustration from crochet with detailed video tutorials and using quality yarns and tools that are a pleasure to use. You’ll learn lifelong skills from us that you’ll be able to use to crochet any pattern.
Check out the video above to see just how easy it is to make our Grounded Cowl – you’ll have it made within an hour, even if you’ve never crocheted before.
The Grounded Cowl is one of the 5 patterns (with videos) included in our Chunky Scarf Crochet Kit – it’s got everything you need to crochet your own chunky scarf.
Already have a 25mm crochet hook? Grab a 300g skein of our soft Homelea Bliss yarn to add a pop of colour to your winter wardrobe.
You’re going to love crocheting your Grounded Cowl!
With love, Lynda.
Hi! I’m Lynda (she/her) and I’m the lady behind Homelea Lass.
I’m here to help you improve your crochet skills and to help you find peace and happiness in your creative time.
In 2012 I was knocked down by debilitating chronic fatigue that put an end to my blossoming career as a Civil Engineer and Project Manager.
Early on in my illness, I discovered that I could crochet without draining my energy, so I spent my days crocheting, researching yarns and designing – this is how Homelea Lass was born.
My experience with chronic illness has guided me to combine my passion for exceptional design and crochet. I’ve developed a way of crocheting that’s enjoyable, easy to understand, and maximises it’s relaxing and wellbeing properties.
As my healing journey has progressed, Homelea Lass has grown, and I feel blessed that I can share my love of Australian merino wool, chunky crochet and creativity with you.
