What products are certified Australian made?
All the Homelea Lass yarns are certified Australian Made and are licensed to display the Australian Made logo.
The Homelea Lass yarns far exceed the minimum requirement of being substantially transformed within Australia because the growth of the fibre and all its processing occurs within Australia, with no offshore processing.
-
Are the yarns fully grown and made in Australia?
Yes, all the Homelea Lass yarns are fully grown and made in Australia, to strict animal welfare, quality and environmental standards.
The soft fibre is grown by merino sheep in Australia before being fully processed in Australia too. There is no overseas travel or processing involved. We think these yarns are special, and we hope you do too!

Are there both yarn and crochet kits in the Australian made range?
All the Homelea Lass crochet kits include yarns that are certified Australian made and are made by hand in Australia.
Unfortunately, it’s not possible for kits to be certified Australian made, but we apply the same rigorous commitment to quality and local production to our kits as we do to our Australian made yarns. Where it’s not possible to source an Australian made component, we include the highest quality alternative.
