One thing I’ve loved doing over the last couple of years is making baby blankets, scarfs and other goodies for people in need.
It took me a while to find a charity to support, and once I found Helping Hands Dalby I knew they were the perfect fit – they are a grassroots charity run by women in Dalby to help support people in the local area that are struggling. They work tirelessly and they really make a change.
If you popped by my stand at Melbourne Finders Keepers you would have noticed that we were making baby blankets for Helping Hands – thank you so much to everyone that did a few stitches!
The 5 baby blankets we made are now with Helping Hands Dalby.
- Baby Blanket 1
- Baby Blanket 2
- Baby Blanket 3
- Baby Blanket 4
- Baby Blanket 5
- Helping Hands Dalby
Would you like to make baby blankets for charity too?
If you would like to support Helping Hands Dalby by making a baby blanket or two then you can find all the details here.
There are no specifications on what needs to be made – use any yarn and make the size that feels right to you.
With love, Lynda.
