Party Bunting Crochet Kit

Have you seen the colourful bunting that’s used for parties in Call The Midwife? I’ve been dreaming about crocheting colourful bunting for years but haven’t found the right crochet pattern. So I designed one!

Party Bunting combines textured crochet stitches with beautifully shaped triangles that flutter in the wind.

This pattern uses simple stitch patterns and you’ll be able to make it if you’ve done some crocheting before. The video tutorials explain what to do, but it will help if you know how to do:

• slip stitches
• chain stitches
• double crochet (UK terminology) / single crochet (US terminology) stitches
• half treble (UK terminology) / half double crochet (US terminology) stitches
• treble (UK terminology) / double crochet (US terminology) stitches
• fasten off

The pattern includes a printable pdf crochet pattern and online courses (with right and left handed videos tutorials) that explains exactly what to do. There’s also an online group to join to get help and share your crocheting.

The yarn is 100% made in Australia with no offshore processing. Most of the yarn in the kits is Australian merino wool (Homelea Happy 10ply) with a small amount of cotton string.

I make each Advent Kit in the Homelea Lass studio, located on a remote cattle property near Quilpie in south west Queensland, Australia and use Australian made components (packaging, bags, labels, boxes, etc)  whenever possible.
