Spring Daisy Crochet Pattern and Online Course
FREE
You'll love crocheting colourful daisies!
Includes a pdf pattern (printable), as well as left and right handed video tutorials.
Is there anything sweeter than a field of daisies, bobbing their colourful heads up and down? Now you can crochet your own daisy field!
Enjoy the happy vibes of these crocheted daisies by hanging them from door handles, making them into a garland, using them as trivets for your teapot (and other hot things) or sewing them onto cushions, blanket and tote bags.
what we’re making
We’re crocheting spring daisies and leaves with super chunky yarn. There are 2 different daisies and 2 different leaves for you to choose from – lots of ways for you to sprinkle daisy happiness in your day!
There are 2 rounds in the daisies – the first forms the centre of the daisy and the second creates the petals. I’ve designed the petals to highlight the beautiful V’s of the crochet stitches, and you’ll learn a nifty trick that hides the join between the start and end of the round.
The leaves are made by crocheting stitches of different heights back along the foundation chain. You have the option to crochet the leaves onto your daisies or leave them separate.
At the end we’ll steam block your daisies and leaves so they look amazing.
skill level – easy
This pattern uses different types of stitches and it’s suitable for you if you’ve done some crocheting before. You’ll learn how to do the extended double crochet (UK terminology) / extended single crochet (US terminology) stitch.
I’ll show you exactly what to do in the included left and right handed video tutorials.
size
The daisies are 20cm (8in) across and 2cm (0.8in) thick. The leaves are 16cm (6in) and 11cm (4in) long and 2cm (0.8in) thick.
