Last week I did something I couldn’t have done a couple of years ago – I followed my intuition and completely rescheduled my commitments. I was amazed at what happened when I did this.
Following my intuition
I reason I did this was simple – my mother in law had passed away and it felt like the week needed to be about my husband and his family. I needed to make space in my life for them. They were more important than my study, blogging, hair appointment and other commitments.
Although the week was a sad one, it was special as well.
There were tears, laughter and deep discussions. It was a celebration of the life that has been and the life that is.
I walked away feeling blessed and honoured by the love that surrounds me.
Making space for my family was the right thing to do. It allowed me the space to grow.
It taught me that life flows and I need to appreciate it as it happens.
It taught me to embrace those around me and love them as they are.
It’s also taught me that it’s okay to follow your intuition and let go.
How can you make space?
How can you make space for those people who are important to you? Have a think about it and let me know in the comments below.
With love and joy,
