It’s all systems go here at Homelea Lass this week as I prepare for The Big Design Market (Dec 7-9) in Sydney!
I always enjoy bringing my designs to Sydney, and I simply love showcasing Homelea Lass at markets like this. Why? Because I get to demonstrate just how wonderful the art of crochet can be, person-to-person.
The Big Design Market is a three day festival of arts, crafts, culture and food. Perfectly timed to help you find unique and eclectic gifts for your loved ones at Christmas time, I am thrilled to be showcasing my lovingly made crafts and kits once again. To make this year even better, I will be running live demonstrations throughout the weekend as well as opportunities to chat one-on-one and have all of your crocheting questions answered – by me!
I get so much joy from crocheting, and I love sharing this experience with Sydney-siders at such an exciting time of year. It feels truly magic!
Where are we located?
Stand: C30.
You can find me by the children’s area right at the back. Simply walk through the doors, head straight to the end, turn left and there I am!
What can you purchase on the day?
As always, I will have plenty of Homelea Bliss yarn and crochet hooks available. I will also have yarn kits and “made for you” items available, ready to gift for Christmas. If you’re looking to gift an experience this year, or something Australian-made and handmade, we have something for everyone on your Christmas List.
And, don’t forget that the kits come with video tutorials so you have someone show you exactly how to make the most of these wonderful gifts – for your friends, family, or a treat for yourself – why not!
From stocking fillers to complete kits, I will be showcasing the extensive range of 100% Australian made and grown merino wool products. Pom Pom key rings are just $15, or you can purchase a Pom Pom key ring kit to make your own (kit makes 2) for $39 – what a lovely Christmas Day craft activity!
Big Design Market Special:
Exclusive to those who visit the stand, will be a Chunky Crochet Starter Kit Special. During the market weekend, the Chunky Crochet Starter Kits will be available for $75 (normally $95).
If you’re ordering from Sydney, you can also select to pick-up from the markets to save yourself shipping fees.
And yes, we have AfterPay on the stand!
Can’t make it?
For those that can’t make it to the market – shipping is $9 flat rate, or free for orders over $200. I’ll be sending out these orders once I return to Melbourne – from Wednesday 12th December so please bare this in mind when ordering.
